BukdAI ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Run Horse Run LLC. BukdAI is an AI text-message receptionist that helps service businesses (such as stylists, barbers, and cleaners) book appointments by text. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to business owners who use BukdAI and to the clients who text those businesses.

1. Information We Collect

From business owners:

  • Account details: name, email, password (stored encrypted), and phone number.
  • Business details: business name, address, services, prices, hours, policies, and settings.
  • Business registration details needed to register for texting with phone carriers (for example, legal name, address, and tax ID if you have one).
  • Billing details, handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

From clients who text a business:

  • Phone number and, if you share it, your name.
  • The text messages you exchange with the business's BukdAI assistant.
  • Appointment details such as service, date, time, and deposit status.
  • If you call a business and the call isn't answered, the phone number you called from.
  • If you choose to leave a voicemail, the recording and a written transcript, which we send to the business so they can call you back.

2. How We Use Information

  • To book, confirm, remind, reschedule, and cancel appointments.
  • To answer questions about a business's services, prices, and policies.
  • To text back callers whose calls a business missed, so they can book by text.
  • To pass voicemails to the business you called.
  • To send business owners the alerts they choose and to provide customer support.
  • To operate, secure, and improve BukdAI.

3. How Information Is Shared

Your booking details are shared with the business you are booking with. We use these service providers to run BukdAI:

  • Twilio for sending and receiving text messages and calls.
  • Stripe for deposits, payments, and payouts.
  • Supabase for secure data storage.
  • Anthropic to power the AI assistant that reads and replies to messages.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Text Messages

Clients opt in by texting a business's BukdAI number or, after a missed call, by replying to our text. Business owners opt in to alerts in their dashboard. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. See our Terms of Service for full SMS terms.

5. Data Retention

We keep booking and message history while the business uses BukdAI so they can see client history, and for up to 12 months after an account closes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections, access controls that keep each business's data separate, and trusted infrastructure providers to protect your information.

7. Children's Privacy

BukdAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new date.
